Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care including exams, cleanings, restorative procedures, endodontics (including molar), and implant restorations.
• Opportunity to retain oral surgery cases and perform implant placements
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and preferences.
• Perform oral surgery procedures such as extractions, when within scope.
• Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
• Participate in community outreach efforts such as health fairs, senior center events, and local networking to attract new patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Uphold the practice’s Fee-for-Service model by focusing on patient relationships and case acceptance.
• Support practice growth by helping evaluate and implement strategies to increase patient volume.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from U.S. accredited dental school or AEGD/GPR residency program
• Active Texas dental license
• Active Federal DEA and applicable certifications
• 2 or more years professional clinical experience preferred

Elm Creek Dentistry, formerly Richard Lazor, DDS, has been a trusted name in dental care for over 20 years in the heart of North Central San Antonio. We are a Fee-for-Service (FFS) practice that values personalized, patient-centered care and long-term relationships. Our practice is deeply rooted in the Whispering Oaks community, We offer comprehensive dental services including general dentistry, restorative care, cosmetic procedures, periodontics, oral surgery, endodontics (including molar endo), and implant restoration and placement. Our technology suite includes digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, Carestream scanner, Pano, ClearCorrect aligners, and an endo and implant system. CBCT imaging is available through a local partner, with potential for in-house acquisition.
