Fedra Witting, DDS is now hiring an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Part Time Dental Hygienist in Annapolis, Maryland to join our caring team and provide quality care experiences to their patients!

Eligible for Sign on Bonus Consideration

2 Days a Week Part Time Dental Hygienist Schedule

Monday and Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (including Morning Huddle) and 1 hour break for lunch

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
• Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
• Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
• Reviewing patient's history and charting
• Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
• Documents area of existing restorations
• Use of X-ray
• Support the dentist with procedures as needed

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Maryland
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Current BLS/CPR certifications
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
• Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience
• Knowledgeable about perio health, comfortable with patient education, and competent with gum therapy
• Experience with dental practice software
• Seeking a new team collaborator that is open, positive and flexible
