Overview

Wellington Smiles is now seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant in beautiful Wellington, Florida!

As a Full Time Dental Assistant, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical assisting and helping support basic front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and making follow-up calls to patients.

Full Time Dental Assistant Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm and every other Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm

60 minute lunch breaks

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentists chairside
• Welcomes patients
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories
• Assist with basic front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and making follow-up calls to patients

Qualifications

• Florida Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
• X-Ray Certification required
• Organized Dental Assistant with at least 3 years of dentistry experience required
• Polished, professional, organized, multi-tasker with Cosmetic and digital dental experience
• Ability to be proactive in work
• Ability to present treatment plans to patients
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Experience with digital software
• Excellent interpersonal skills with great positive energy, empathetic, kind and outgoing
