Randall Foto DDS is now hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant in Mandeville, LA!

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.

Schedule: Monday & Thursday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm

Tuesday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Wednesday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentists chairside
• Welcomes patients
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant training/school certification
• EDDA preferred, but not mandatory
• 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience required
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Experience with digital software
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pack cord, make a temp crown, take impressions and use an intraoral scanner. Prefer someone knowledgeable in implants, clear aligners and 3D printers. Must have an open, positive and flexible attitude.
