Monday through Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm, Friday 7:45am-4:00pm

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentists chairside
• Welcomes patients
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories

Qualifications

• Experienced Dental Assistant with a required minimum of 2 years of experience assisting a general dentist in four-handed dentistry
• Experienced with taking X-rays, minor & major restorative procedures, taking impressions for dentures-crowns & bridges, fabrication of temp crowns, charting, treatment planning and OSHA & HIPAA Policies
• Dental Assistant training/school certification
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Experience with digital software, Dentrix preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
